The Joshua Tree Foundation program consist of community, family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and business owners. The purpose of the Joshua Tree Foundation is to develop a youth initiative program designed with art, academic and physical fitness skills through motivational skills. Our program will provide a youth development center enhancing cultural background based on integrated multi-cultural curriculum, providing optimal social and emotional growth as well as developmental, physical and intellectual skills to empower youth to become advocated for tomorrow’s generation.
The Joshua Tree will facilitate an educational learning center to serve youth that desire to have an education and be successfully prosperous. The program helps youth that lack the educational skills to become competitive in society. The program will provide analytical experiences and introduce health and nutrition guidelines in an effort to prevent obesity. Our program will recruit and train in early education for the underprivileged, which have been excluded from the traditional pathways to career formation and advancement by protracted poverty.
Our program will work with life management, social skills and literacy for "at-promise" youth that may be under-served, handicapped, underprivileged, disenfranchised and disadvantaged. Literacy has been chosen as a key ingredient for our initiative. The Joshua Tree Foundation will offer services that empower youth with knowledge and resources to achieve greater self-identity, academic excellence, community involvement and balanced living. Additionally, will supply youth in our community a place to come and learn about life challenges through academic excellence, by introducing principles and skills that increase their confidence and intellectual capabilities.
