ABOUT US

The Joshua Tree Foundation (JTF) is a 501(c)3 organization designed for "at-promise" youth with an educational  structure surrounded around the arts, academics and physical fitness. In an outdoor based learning space our program empowers youth with intellectual skills and resources to achieve a greater self-identity, scholastic excellence, community involvement, balanced living and an integrated multi-cultural curriculum. Through mentorship and motivational support the Joshua Tree Foundation aims to support youth that desire to be successfully prosperous. 

MEET THE PRINCIPAL STAFF

The Joshua Tree Foundation staff has demonstrated a great commitment to the Oakland community through their numerous years of volunteerism within the JTF organization and numerous others. Along with our principal staff and mentor's educational accomplishments, The Joshua Tree Foundation's team will make all efforts to ensure our youths prosperity.

Portland State University & CSU Eastbay Alum. Counselor. Reginald's interest include utilizing Mother Nature as an education component via hikes through Bay Area trails, Native/Non Native plant identification, etc.

10:00am - 10:15am Introduction (Planting the Seed)

 

10:15am - 11:15am Stretch & Flex | Exercise (Sprouting)

11:15am - 11:30am Break

 

11:30am - 12:00pm Lunch (Nourishing our Harvest)

 

12:00pm - 1:45pm Activity | Fieldtrip | Various (Pruning the Garden/Enriching the Soil) 

 

1:45pm - 2:00pm Closing (Bearing the Fruit)
